In addition to the usual GP consultations, the practice offers a wide range of clinical and associated servi
ces conducted by the doctors and/or practice nurse/midwife, including:
Ante-Natal/Post-Natal/Maternity Care
Tuesdays 09:30 – 13:00 by appointment. Includes routine checks on newborns, childhood immunisations, etc. Parents must bring record/log to each visit.
Mental Health Clinic
We offer a Mental Health Clinic every Monday 9 am to 1 pm by appointments only
Asthma, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), Coronary Heart Disease (CHD) and Well Man Clinics, etc.
By appointment, or contact reception for details.
Diabetes Monitoring and Control
Periodically, usually by invitation letter. Patients join programme on doctor’s advice.
Foreign Travel Immunisation and Health Advice
By prior arrangement. Patients should contact the surgery to book their appointment at least 6 weeks before they are due to travel.
Influenza Vaccination
Recommended from early October each year for all patients and those suffering from asthma, diabetes, chest, heart or kidney disease etc. We routinely invite all such patients to attend for vaccination.
Minor Surgery Service
By appointment only, contact reception for details.
Stop Smoking Service
Advice and treatment available on request. For the National Smoking Cessation Service, tel. 0800 013 0845. We also offer stop smoking clinics every Mondays by appointments between 1 pm-3 pm
Well-Woman Clinic & Family Planning
By invitation letter or by appointment, usually in normal surgery time when the female doctor and/or practice nurse is on duty.
